Photos, Photos! Who's got the Photos?

We would love to put together a video slide show of our favorite photos to show at the reunion and possibly have it available on a CD/DVD for you to take home as a keepsake, but we need your help. Of course "back then," we had to take pictures the old-fashioned way--you know, with film that had to be developed over several days so it will take a little more work for us to produce this walk down memory lane.

In order for your favorite photos to be included in the video slide show: 1) Mail copies of your photos to the address below. If you send "originals," write your name on the back of each photo if you need them returned, or 2) Follow the directions on this url site to upload your photos directly http://gallery.mac.com/klbrown16#100077 (Photo copies/originals should be mailed to Debbie Blackburn, c/o Clear Lake Church of Christ, 938 El Dorado Blvd., Houston, TX 77062.)

Family Updates

It's been 47 years since the first meeting of the Sun Valley congregation. We would love to know where your family has been and what they have been doing? Are your children grown and married? Do you have grandchildren/great grandchildren? Have you retired and/or taken a fabulous vacation? Please post an update on your family especially if you will be unable to attend the reunion celebration.

Favorite Memories

Most of us could go on and on talking about our favorite memories of Sun Valley days. Do you remember a beautiful wedding; the birth of a new baby being brought to the Cradle Roll class for the very first time; Vacation Bible School; riding in the “Old Yeller” bus with the Ahooga horn to the Monday night devotionals; Camp Mohawk; the Bus Ministry Program; Fun Time Skating Rink nights; Ice Cream Suppers, or wrapping houses? Whatever your favorite memory, we would love for you to share it with us.

The Search Is On

Trying to locate former members who have ever appeared on a list or in a directory is an overwhelming task to say the least! The internet has been helpful in a lot of cases in addition to getting bits and pieces of information from former members who are still in the local area. Regardless of our many efforts, whenever you make a list of former members and or a list of those who have passed away, there is always going to be people that you overlook.
